KAITO WATARI

THE MOON
RANK:

Kaito's best friend from home, whom he's lived next to ever since the two could hardly even walk. They've been in the same class at school for almost just as long, and it was thanks to Kaito that Daichi even had a chance at surviving during the Septentrione invasion. Probably the only one that can sufficiently talk him into calming down when he's worked himself up, and Daichi's self-acknowledged better; he'd be proud to be Kaito's sidekick any day. Thankfully there's no hard feelings from Kaito kicking his ass to go after Polaris, but he certainly doesn't want to do it again. Often he becomes the emotional mouthpiece for what Kaito ends up feeling, allowing the more competent boy to remain in control of the situation.

THE LOVERS
RANK:

The smartest girl from his high school back home (at least, if Daichi is to be believed), turned teammate during the Septentrione invasion. For who-even-knows-how-long, Io's been the apple of his eye, only bolstered by the fact that she saved him a few times during the invasion and actually supported his own ideas at the end of the week. You can probably listen to him be really embarrassing if you can get him to talk about her; but it's clear that she's had feelings for his best friend instead, especially since the two are now dating. He's learned to accept that fact, and the two remain good friends, while Daichi quietly admires her intelligence, beauty, and kindness, and insisting she's much better off being with Kaito. Besides, he's over it.

RANK:

A mysterious man that appeared to help them during the Septentrione invasion, who turned out to be the admin of Nicaea, and a Septentrione himself. Daichi is about 90% sure this is the Saiduq from his own universe-- he seems to share the right memories, and he's pretty sure Saiduq sort of became the world? No, that's definitely what happened. Yes.

Anyway, Daichi thought the guy was pretty creepy at first-- especially the way he knew so much about demons and stars, and was always hanging around Kaito. But thanks to Kaito's own vouching, Daichi and the others eventually warmed up to the guy, and Daichi considers him just as good a friend as any-- even if he has no idea what he's saying most of the time.

YAMATO HOTSUIN

THE CHARIOT
RANK:

The Yamato that Daichi knew unceremoniously committed suicide after they beat him in Osaka; but the Yamato that showed up here had memories of them siding with Ronaldo, and being killed by Tsutenkaku. Daichi never really understood the concept of alternate universes properly, but he nevertheless extended an olive branch to Yamato. Here at least, they aren't enemies anymore-- hell, Daichi hardly considered any of them enemies in the first place.
